The Lab · Six 75-minute live sessions
Six sessions.
One transition. Together.
The Transition Lab is a group coaching experience for women of color navigating meaningful professional and personal transitions — built so you move, not just think about moving.
Who it's for
Women of color in the middle of something.
You don't need to know what comes next to join. Most participants arrive with the feeling first and the words later — that's what the first two sessions are for.
Transitions that bring women here
- A career pivot, or the question of whether to make one
- A leadership step up, or a step away
- Returning to work after a season away
- Starting something of your own
- An identity or life shift that's changing what you want from work
What happens across the six sessions
Defining Your New Beginning
Name the transition you're actually in — what you're leaving, what you're still holding, and what you want to carry forward.
We start with the transition itself. You'll look honestly at what you're leaving or releasing, what you may still be holding onto, and what's worth carrying into the next chapter. Then we turn toward what you're moving toward and begin shaping a vision for your new beginning. You'll also meet the women who will be in the room with you for the next six weeks.
You leave with
A clearer understanding of where you are inside your transition, and the new beginning you want to create.
Finding Your Power Position
Work our Power Position framework — the intersection of what you care about, what you can do, and where the opportunity is.
This session is built around our Power Position framework: the intersection of your passions and interests, your skills and experience, and real market demand. Alone, each one is interesting; together, they point somewhere specific. You'll map all three and look at where they overlap for you.
You leave with
A clearer sense of the possibilities open to you, and where you may be uniquely positioned to move next.
Turning Clarity Into Action
Convert insight into priorities, possible moves, and concrete next steps — the start of a real action plan.
This is where the work gets tactical. You'll take what surfaced in the first two sessions and turn it into priorities, potential moves, and specific next steps. Together we shape an emerging action plan you can actually begin working.
You leave with
Specific moves you can start making — not just ideas you've been carrying around.
Leveraging Your Strengths
Identify the strengths behind your success so far and apply them directly to the moves your plan requires.
We take a strengths-based approach here. You'll look at the strengths that have carried your success so far and how they show up when you're at your best. Then you'll apply them to at least one specific move or obstacle inside your action plan. The question isn't just what your strengths are — it's how you use what's already strong in you to make this transition.
You leave with
A way forward built on how you actually work, instead of someone else's formula.
Building Momentum
You've started moving. We look at what's working, what's in the way, and what needs to shift.
By now you've begun making moves, and real action produces real information. We look at what's working, what's supporting progress, what's getting in the way, and where you need more support or accountability. This isn't about perfection or checking off tasks — it's about learning from what you've done and using it to move faster.
You leave with
An adjusted, stronger action plan and visible momentum toward what you're building.
Sustaining What's Next
Reflect, recognize how far you've come, and set intentions for how you keep moving after the cohort ends.
The final session is for reflection and celebration. We name what's changed, what you've accomplished, and what's true now that wasn't true six weeks ago. Then we turn to sustainability: your intentions for the coming months and how this community continues beyond the formal cohort.
You leave with
Recognition of how far you've come, and a clear intention for how you keep going.
